Welcome to Cortijo Los Lucas an idyllic Holiday Rental or Group Accommodation location made up of four sympathetically renovated traditional Andalucian farmhouses located in the small rural village of El Puertecico just north of Huercal Overa in the heart of rural Andalucia.
All of the houses have been sympathetically restored retaining many of the original features, including floors and original exposed wooden beams and traditional spanish kitchens.
We have four houses varying in sizes and layouts which can all be rented out individually or as group accommodation. All of the houses have their own private outside terrace space and free Wifi, giving you your own area to completely relax and unwind.
Casita Higuera, 1 Bedroom House which sleeps 2 people.
Casita Ladera, 2 Bedroom House which sleeps 4 people.
Casa Las Palomas, 4 Bedroom House which sleeps 8 to 10 people.
Casa de las Almendras, 4 Bedroom House which sleeps 8 to 10 people.
El Puertecico is a small village with only 166 inhabitants and offers the traveller a special tranquil place to relax and recharge their batteries. The village is over 950 metres above sea level with outstanding views of the local countryside providing travellers with a special destination to relax and enjoy a restful stay, or as a base to explore the surrounding villages, towns, beaches and countryside, and an ideal base for Walking Holidays, Mountain Biking, Holidays, Running Holidays, Photography Holidays, Bird Watching Holidays, Drawing Holidays, Triathlon Training Holidays, Sports Warm Weather Training. Skiing is available as the Sierra Nevada is aprroximately a two and a half hour drive away.
The village is surrounded by Almond and Olive Groves, Fig and Pomegranate Trees and further away are swathes of Orange and Lemon and Groves.
